Blazons taken from the French and Dutch Wikipedias are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0; each record cites its source, and the adaptations published here are shared under the same terms.

The classic armorials are in the public domain: Rietstap (Armorial général, 1884–1887), Burke (The General Armory, 1884), d’Hozier (Armorial général de France, 1696), Mailhol (Dictionnaire historique et héraldique de la noblesse française), Rolland (Supplément à l’Armorial général, vols. 1–2), Siebmacher (19th-century volumes), Crollalanza (Dizionario storico-blasonico, 1886–1890) and Renesse (Dictionnaire des figures héraldiques).
